Itinerary

Day 01 : CHILAW

On arrival in Sri Lanka airport warmly welcomed by Perfect Leisure company representative and tour guide, Transfer to Bandaranaike International airport to hotel in Chilaw. Same day you will make visit to secret Munneswaram Kovil.

Munneswaram Hindu temple is very important temple complex in Chilaw. Munneswaram history goes to until 1000 CE and temple associate with Ramayana and its god Rama.

Day 02 : MANNAR

After the Breakfast you will be going to Mannar, make visit to another important Kovil which is Thiruketheeswaram Temple.

Day 03 : TRINCOMALEE

Breakfast at the Hotel and proceed to Trincomalee and explore the old Dutch Fort, then after will make visit to Koneshwaran Kovil Situated On top of a cliff that over hangs the Indian Ocean.

Day 04 : MAHIYANGANAYA

This morning, head to Mahiyanganaya to visit Seetha Fort, the site of Queen Mandothari’s palace in Lankapura, located in the heart of the jungle. Historically, Seetha Devi was held here before moving to Ashoka Vathika.

En route, see Yahangala, part of the Ramayana trail and believed to be where King Ravana was laid to rest.

Afterward, check in to your hotel in Mahiyanganaya and enjoy an evening wildlife safari at Maduru Oya National Park in the Uva and Eastern provinces. The park is known for elephants, birds, sloth bears, deer, leopards, wild boars, wild buffaloes, and porcupines.

Day 05 : NUWARA ELIYA

After breakfast, your driver will take you to Nuwara Eliya. First, visit Hakgala Botanical Garden, 16 km from Nuwara Eliya on the Badulla main road. Once one of King Ravana’s pleasure gardens from the Ramayana, it features a wide variety of flowers, including orchids, and is home to many endemic and migratory birds.

Next, visit Seetha Amman Temple, believed to be where Seetha Devi was held by King Vikram and prayed for Lord Rama. The temple also houses the footprint of Lord Hanuman.

In the afternoon, take a short drive to the Hanuman Temple, an important site dedicated to Lord Hanuman, recognized as the place where he stayed before rescuing Seetha Devi.

Day 06 : ELLA

Morning proceeds to Ella and take time to explore the Ella area. This will include Ravana fall, Ravana Cave, Little Adamas Peak and Nine Arch Bridge. There are many landmarks which is associated with Ramayanaya, Ravana captive princess Seetha and had hidden her in the caves behind waterfall. Now it is known as the Ravana Ella Cave and the Fall.

Day 07 : BENTOTA

Morning proceeds to Gall and you will explore the Galle Fort and the Rumassala mountain is located Southern Coast in Sri Lanka which is considered as chunk of Himalayan mountains in India taken by Lord Hanuman.
